- Is there a fee or a charge for submitting a price request? There is absolutely no
charge for you to submit price request! There is no commitment! We do need you to fill out the required minimal
information so we can process your request correctly.
- How does this website work? You fill in the location, time, and what price you are
willing to pay. We take this information and send it to all of the owners/managers of vacation properties in the
area you are interested in that are registered with us (site members). If they have availability and find the
price acceptable they will email you directly with their terms/property information and/or a link to a website
that contains these details. From that point on, all business is conducted between you and the owner/property
manager directly and exclusively.
- How can I increase the chances of having my price met? The vacation rental owners
use this website primarily to fill in the gaps in their calendars that are still open. The majority of vacation
rental owners would rather make some income at a discount by filling in those gaps, than keeping a vacancy that
brings in no income. It is all a matter of chance. However, the odds do increase for you the more last minute
you book. The closer you are to your date, the more likely the vacation rental owners will be willing to fill in
their open days at a discounted rate... But don't forget, it doesn't hurt to try!
- Can I submit more than one request? Yes, as many as you like! Please wait a few
days between requests however, as not all vacation property owners/managers check their email/property sites
every day. Your response could be immediate or spread out over several days.
- What if I don't get a response? We recommend that you check out the websites on
our link page and do some price research for your desired area. Probably your price request is too low and no
one is interested, or, your submission is for a time/location in high demand, or, you are requesting a date so
far in advance that the vacation rental owner/property manager is hoping it will be filled at full price. Do a
little research and try again - you never know!
- What if an owner responds with alternate dates? This happens sometimes. The dates
may vary from your requested arrival and/or departure time to accomodate their individual calendar bookings. The
more flexible you are with your dates, the better your chances of finding a vacation rental owner that will
accept your price. Remember, the negotiation of terms and price are between you and the owner/property manager.
- What happens if an owner responds with a higher price? Remember, the negotiation
of terms and price are between you and the owner/property manager. Some owners might like your price offer and
accept; others might want a little more for the date(s) you've requested. It is up to the two of you to come to
an agreement.
