- How does this website work? Potential renters fill in the location, time, and price they are willing to pay, absolutely free of charge. This information is then forwarded (via email) to all of our members (vacation rental owners/managers) with rental properties in the specified area. Any interested member can reply directly to the potential renter, disclose their terms, link to property details, and accept (or reject) the potential renter's offer. Press Releases
- Why should vacation rental owners subscribe to this service? Lets face it, there are slots on every vacation rental owner's calendar that remain open and vacant. Rather than make no money for those slots of vacant time, rent them out at a discounted rate. Some money is better than no money, especially when the property is just sitting vacant!
- What is the fee for this service? If you are a new member, a full year of service is only $99. That's $50 off the regular/renewal price of $149! It would be foolish not to subscribe for such a low price to a service that can help fill in your calendar gaps and generate enough income to justify the expense with just one booking!
- Should this be the only website I join? Absolutely Not! You should definitely join a conventional Vacation Rental Website (see our links page). This site is designed to SUPPLEMENT your primary listing(s). View this site as a tool that will help you fill your last-minute vacancies and/or gaps between odd rental periods, like 4 days in the middle of the week, for example.
- How does the service offered on this site differ from an auction service? Vastly. While an auction format does have its own advantages, here are a few of the key differences that owners will find more palatable: 1. NO 3rd party regulating your transaction, 2. NO 3rd party percentage or commission fees, 3. NO additional property listing necessary, 4. A FULL YEAR of service for one low, fixed price!
- Can I reply to a potential renter with optional/alternate dates, or a counter offer on the price they named? Yes to both. Remember, terms and price negotiation are between you and the potential renter. Maybe their named price is acceptable if you offer them a different arrival/departure date, or the price named is too low, but the property is still available on the requested dates. Keep in mind though, if their offer is reasonable, another rental property owner in your area may accept it.
- Can I register the same property in more than one location? Yes, registering your property in multiple locations (i.e. nearby, similar climate, etc.) will increase your property's exposure, but keep in mind you'll be charged a full year's membership fee PER LOCATION.
